Welcome to Comenius +++ Welcome to Comenius +++ Welcome to Comenius +++
In late September 2013 was Stord Secondary School. hosting our international Comenius project "Choose the future, choose technology".
The project, "Choose the future, choose technology" is an international collaboration between four schools from four different European countries. Together with a German, a Belgian and a Czech school, we work for recruiting young teenagers to choose technical education.
In 2012 we agreed to go for a project for two years, working towards an interactive mobile exhibition to motivate 10-15 year olds to choose technical education. The students in the schools are in the final stages of making different installations such as reaction tests, robots, radio-controlled entities, position sensors and more. The exhibition will have a clear educational profile and are presented to the public in March 2014.
This is the second time all participant partners are gathered at Stord this year.
Together with our students on automation (Heiane) was Belgian, Czech and German teachers and pupils lead through a diverse program.
The group conducted workshops, travel to Bergen and socially enjoy during these days.
During the trip to Bergen got me lots of good ideas and inspiration both at VilvVite, "Vilvite on wheels" and “Research-days” on the Festival Square.
